So, we’ve completed the first full week of July. Here is just a recap of what’s happened so far and what I’ve learned:
A 5-DAY WEEKEND: After relaxing on Monday and Tuesday of this week, it was back to reality when I returned to work on Wednesday. It was the thing I needed, and I’m glad I did it. Started working, and from Wednesday to Friday, work was stress-free.
MOM’S NEW HOUSE: Friday evening, I spent the remainder of the day with Mom to look at her future home, which is lovely. I can’t for her to start this new chapter in her life. After viewing her new house, we spent the rest of the evening at my brother’s, eating a yummy shrimp salad- SO GOOD!
CREATIVITY & BRAINSTORMING: Came home later that night and spent an hour laughing, talking, and brainstorming new ideas with my friend, Jared. It’s great to have a group of friends that not only have the same interests as you, but they’re also working towards the same goals. In my group, I see all of us being creatives and working on something that makes us happy and creates things that can help other individuals with their problems.
SCHOOL & HEALTH: School is still going great, I’m awaiting my final grade for my previous class, and I’m wrapping up my first week of my media writing class. I’ve never been this excited about school in a long time since going to my community college and taking all art classes back in 2009. Still using this time to focus on personal development. My health is still a top priority, so last night and the past few days, I’ve done some reflecting on my choices, my actions, and I know what I need to do now. If your health is not a top priority, then it’s going to be hard for you to focus on anything else if you have low energy. So today is all about planning and getting things together so that I can be ready for the week and for the remainder of 2020.
I know to take baby steps so don’t worry, I’m going to pace myself and track my progress as I go.
Until next time…
